This is where it all started. Barbara’s at the Brewery, Lincoln Heights. My mom (Barbara) started this place as a catering kitchen, then got a liquor license and opened a bar. I helped turn it in to (imho) a pretty great place to have a beer. It started out as a 10 faucet direct draw, with a three door reach-in fridge on the other side of that wall. I eventually added five more beer lines. The pours were never ideal (especially in the hot summers), the fridge was in such a hot kitchen. I dealt with a lot of foamy beers. I did my best with flow control faucets but eventually we acquired the space next door and I installed a remote system. 20 faucets and, I hate to brag, but pretty sweet tap list. Some of the pictures below are of our Anniversary/ Russian River Pliny the Younger events. I integrated a pretty sweet cleaning setup as well as a keg hoist. I also showcased some woodworking skills and built a glass rack for stemware.
